Nature's Decorations
The cardinal is one of our favorite southern birds,
seen in almost all areas of the state. Keeping a feeder
well stocked with sunflower seeds is not an easy
task with these fellows (and ladies) around.
It is such a delight to spy several of them perched
on the bare branches of nearby trees. These
beautiful birds truly bring joy to the South,
at Christmas and year round.
